Feeding. Sheltering. Restoring. Empowering.

At Bethesda Charity Home, we are committed to being a House of Mercy for the vulnerable. Inspired by the Pool of Bethesda in the Bible, we reach out to children and families in South Africa and Nigeria who face hunger, homelessness, and hopelessness.

Our work is rooted in compassion, guided by faith, and focused on restoring dignity.

Bethesda Charity Home
Child Feeding Programs

Every day, countless children go hungry. Through our feeding outreaches, we provide:

  • Nutritious meals for children suffering from hunger and malnutrition.

  • Community food drives for families in poverty.

  • School feeding support to keep children in class and learning.

Shelter & Homeless Support

A safe place to sleep is the beginning of healing. Bethesda provides:

  • Shelter for abandoned and homeless children.

  • Clothing, bedding, and hygiene kits for the most vulnerable.

  • Family support to help rebuild broken homes.

Child Sponsorship & Education
We believe education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Through sponsorship, we provide: School fees, uniforms, and learning supplies. Access to vocational training for older children. Personal mentorship to encourage academic and spiritual growth.
Faith-Based Counseling & Mentorship
Beyond physical needs, we care for the heart and soul: Counseling for children who have faced trauma, abandonment, or loss. Prayer support and spiritual guidance. Mentorship programs to build confidence and hope.
Skills Development & Empowerment
To create lasting change, we empower communities by: Offering vocational and life skills training. Supporting youth and parents with small business opportunities. Building independence to break generational poverty.
Our Reach: South Africa to Nigeria
We work across borders to reach the most vulnerable, extending mercy and hope where it is needed most.
Together, We Can Do More
Your support makes this work possible. With more resources, we can: Expand our daily feeding programs. Build safe homes for more children. Reach new communities in need.
